Pennine has been praised by the head of Investors In People for being “very committed to good people management practice” after it secured the Silver standard awarded by the international recognised accreditation body.
Investors in People is the UK’s leading accreditation for business improvement through people management, and provides a wealth of resources for businesses to innovate, improve and grow, with a focus on good people making great business.

The company’s IIP success comes hot on the heels of a recent rebranding exercise. Previously known as Pennine Telecom from September the business became known simply as Pennine. This reflected the fact that whilst it continues to offer extensive telecommunications products and services its portfolio now embraces a much wider range of specialisms.
These reflect its expertise in two-way radio – the specialism on which the company was originally founded in 1976 – along with unified communications, mobile telephony and the recently launched cloud and IT support services.
