Pennine, the leading communications and data specialist, has been named as both an Elite Specialist and a Platinum Partner under Motorola Solution’s new PartnerEmpower programme.
The accreditations are the highest achievable under the global two-way radio and communication solutions manufacturer’s reseller programme.
The Elite Specialist award recognises the depth and breadth of expertise within Pennine Radio, the Bury-headquartered company’s specialist two-way radio division.
Platinum Partner, the highest of three revenue-based accreditation levels, reflects Pennine Radio’s status as one of the leading players in the two-way radio sector.
“That we have secured top tier status on both revenue and expertise parameters speaks volumes about our standing in the market,” commented Pennine’s Sales Director, Steve Watts.

The accreditations follow Pennine last year becoming the first company in the world to deploy Motorola’s Motortrbo Capacity Max system. The client, BAE Systems’ Submarines, is among an in impressive list of Pennine Radio customers which also includes Sellafield, Sodexo, and EDF.
Pennine was founded in 1976 as a two-way radio specialist but today offers a broad portfolio of specialisms through its five dedicated divisions.
These include unified communications, on-premise, internet, hosted and mobile telephony, networking, cloud- based voice, video and data facilities, and managed IT services.
